ABOUT JANELLE
Janelle Marie Kelley is a visual artist specializing in 3d mixed media, using acrylic and resin as her main mediums.
Her realistic characters manifest themselves in vivid colors and other media to add depth and contrast evoking a
multidimensional perspective.
She is best known for her custom combination of photo realism and fluid art as well as exotic sea life pieces. Her
signature style consists of integrating manipulated images with real tangible objects that jump from the surface. Her
work is found in Tampa, St. Pete, Key West and throughout the state of Florida. She focuses primarily on
commission pieces, events, and exhibits.Janelle's art is meant to transplant the viewer into the mind space of wonder and escape, in an otherwise strange
and unpredictable universe.
Born and raised in Florida, she is a self taught artist. Janelle holds three licenses with the DBPR and has been a
stylist, makeup artist, and barber for over a decade. She currently paints from her studio in St. Pete creating custom
pieces that are highly sought after with an ever increasing demand for her work.
ABOUT HERBLISH
My work explores the unapologetic relationship between color and shapes while paying a great deal of attention
with textures. With influences as diverse as Egon Schiele and Picasso, new tensions are distilled from both opaque
and transparent narratives. Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of
spatial and chromatic relationships. I love the mixing or hybridizing for the sake of exhibition.
The work becomes a visual carnival of movement.
