About the Event
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Artificial Intelligence + Digital Art
Our call for submissions for our April month-long gallery exhibit seeks original work created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or digital software tools such as Photoshop and Procreate. While this type of work can be controversial, it’s also a way to showcase human creativity. This exhibit will focus on how AI and digital art can facilitate human creativity, not replace it.
New programs like DALL-E 2, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion are making AI art accessible to more and more people, including those with no computer-coding experience; much in the same way Adobe Photoshop and Procreate have done for digital artists.
Venturing into the uncharted and evolving world of AI-generated artwork, we are asking our artist community to create original art with digital software tools or online programs that use artificial intelligence to turn word prompts into images.
We are looking for a diverse and inclusive set of voices to ask pertinent questions, highlight important issues, and explore how AI and digitally created art may shape our world of art.
We love innovation and look forward to seeing your creations. Any subject matter is acceptable. You’re only limited by your imagination.
