BLACK/WHITE (with a touch of color)

From Black and white to every shade of in-between gray... our call for submissions  looks for all types of black and white artwork and challenges you, the artist, to convey your message in a world with minimal color.

When artwork showcases black, white and shades of gray, viewers are drawn to focus on the art piece, and the details of how the artist interprets an image in the absence of color.  From subtle shades of grays to broad and bold strokes of black ink or paint, we are seeking all types of work from conceptual to realistic.

Artwork must contain 75% - 100% shades of black / white. It’s a favorite among artists to challenge their creativity.

Any subject matter and any media are acceptable.  Submitted work should showcase a variety of visual art mediums, subjects, and techniques by a wide range of creative voices (i.e. a variety of ethnic, cultural, and gender representation) while always expressing a high standard of artistic excellence.
