I’ve always been creative- a ballerina growing up, always enjoyed drawing, painting, sewing, and transforming the normal into a treasure. I’m way overeducated but not as an artist. I have college degrees in computer science, economics, MBA, and a masters in cybersecurity. My art is all self-taught.
I’m a St. Pete Beach resident, and when I’m not painting or curating shows at Five Deuces Galleria, I spend my time running long distances, biking, building websites, being a wife and mom to two teenagers, and learning new things. I'm also an instructor at Painting with a Twist in St. Pete (come paint with me!), and a self-taught graphic designer and web developer.
My paintings are primarily in shades of black and white, because I like the mystery it creates and how it forces the viewer to decide what the true colors would be otherwise. I enjoy bringing out sensual and provocative emotions in my artwork and hope that the viewers can connect their own feelings to what they see on the canvas.
